Resumo
On the 6th March 2009 the pupils of ESA and their teachers, involved in the project Young Reporters for the Environment went on a school trip to Santarém, where an exhibition called Expo-Child was being held.

On the 6th March 2009 the pupils of ESA and their teachers, involved in the project Young Reporters for the Environment went on a school trip to Santarém, where an exhibition called Expo-Child was being held.
The exhibition's main objective was o sensitise the youngsters for the environmental and ecological issues. The various products exhibited emphasised the importance of separating, recycling and reusing materials. On display there were traditional toys, clothes and pieces of furniture, in which organic materials had been used.
The surrounding area was a green space where swans lived. Every opportunity is important to implement in the young ones values that will lead them to respect and preserve nature to guarantee a sustainable quality of life.
